We partner directly with these industry leaders to utilize top-tier components—like DAC NFL aluminum poles—while keeping our gear highly accessible.We also engineer alongside our partners. We refine our shelter geometries inside DAC’s wind tunnels to optimize aerodynamic stability under sustained wind loads. We verify our insulation structures in conjunction with Kansas State University (KSU) thermal research labs globally—to guarantee certified, highly accurate R-values.

Before any design is finalized, our prototypes face punishing field trials by Canadian alpinists, thru-hikers, and certified mountain guides. Real-world data from the Wapta Icefield to the PCT dictates our final iterations.
