Drift Lite

I’ve used this ultralight camping chair on two weekend trips now, and it has quickly become one of my favorite pieces of gear. It’s super lightweight and packs down small, so it doesn’t take up much space in my backpack. Setting it up takes less than a minute—just snap the aluminum frame together and slide on the mesh seat.

The breathable mesh is great on warm days, and it actually feels sturdier than I expected. I’m around 80 kg and the chair feels completely stable, no wobbling at all. The back support is surprisingly comfortable for something this light, and I ended up using it around the campfire for hours.

It’s definitely not as big as a heavy car-camping chair, but for hiking or compact camping setups, the weight-to-comfort ratio is excellent. Overall, a very solid ultralight chair that does exactly what it promises.
