Start your applicationWhy we work together
We design lightweight equipment for the wet, windy conditions of British Columbia. To keep improving it, we need to hear from the people who carry it: what packs well, what is awkward with cold hands, and what needs attention after weeks of use.
Those observations help us decide what to inspect, test and refine next. Sharing the trips behind them matters too. A thoughtful photograph, an honest gear review or a story from a long portage can pass on knowledge and help someone else find their way outside.
Out there, together
SwiftyPaddler
A paddler’s perspective
Ron Breault, known as SwiftyPaddler, took the Horizon Lite 2 into the backcountry and shared what worked and what could be better. His review raised a practical concern: protecting the tent floor on rough campsites. We passed that feedback to our designers. We provided the tent for review; Ron wrote independently, without advance review or editorial input from WindQuester.

For active guides, search and rescue members, outdoor educators, wilderness medicine instructors, park professionals and field researchers. Your work gives you a practical perspective on equipment. Tell us where you work, what you carry and what you need it to do.
Tell us about yourself
Share your experience, work and what you have in mind for a collaboration with WindQuester.
Sample availability is limited, and we’re not able to reply to every application. We’ll be in touch if there’s a suitable opportunity to work together. We value ongoing connections with our outdoor community, so not hearing from us right away doesn’t rule out a future collaboration.
