The Nivora X offers an excellent balance of warmth, comfort, and packability. The 10 cm thickness feels supportive, and it is noticeably quieter than many insulated pads when turning over. This sleeping pad is indeed very lightweight. It has not popped, or shown any strain over the past week where my kids have been jumping on it and playing with it.

The material of the sleeping pad itself feels worrisomely thin, I had absolutely no faith in this sleeping pad so gave it to my kids to test. I am as pleased as I am shocked to share that the tensile strength of this material is astonishing. For how crinkly and lightweight it feels it is surprisingly durable.

That said it is a little bit crinkly, mostly deflated but even inflated it still has a little bit of noise with movement. It is most comfortable mostly inflated but not firm, when over inflated I have not been able to get it as firm as a paddle board.

It comes with a manual pump that takes the form of a bag with a open end. If you have not used a pump of this style it delivers a large volume of low pressure air. It works, I don't like it. Good value though.

Other things to note: the color is neutral and inoffensive, it has a nice valve/air outlet, and it really packs down small.

For the best comfort, we recommend inflating the pad until it takes shape, then releasing a little air once you lie down until your hips and shoulders feel comfortably supported. It is designed to have a little give rather than feel rigid like a paddle board.

After sleeping on this pad for 4 nights there are some things that I like about it and some things that I don't. What
I like is the size. I have several pads that are 25*75 and while they give me more than enough space for my 5'11" body there are times where I wish they were smaller. Most single person hiking pole tents accommodate smaller pads much better. This also packs down smaller and is lighter than those pads. This pad was easy to inflate using the included pump sack and once air pressure was adjusted it was comfortable for me to sleep on my side. The pad itself is also quite warm. Compared to some other pads this one is also quiet. If you are looking at some of the warmer ultralight pads that big brands offer you will quickly notice how loud they are. What I didn't is adjusting the pressure. It would be nice if you could release air without opening the valve or pushing down on the one way valve with force - I'm worried it will eventually break. This isn't a big deal if you are just letting some air out during the heat of the day so the pad doesn't develop a leak. But if you are laying on it while adjusting the pressure it can be a challenge. Chances are you will most likely need to do this because if you don't adjust the pressure you will most likely end up sore in the morning. I would put this pad between budget and premium pads and ultimately you are getting what you pay for.

Though Windquester is a relative newcomer to camping gear, this is a serious sleeping pad -- lightweight and usable backcountry for canoeing, and probably even backpacking. It's not truly an ultralight piece of equipment, but it's close, rivaling my Nemo and Sea and Summit pads which cost double this bag's price.

A few notes:

1) The bag folds down small, but provides a claimed 6.8 R-value.
2) A set of patches is included with the pad, but the patches do not contain adhesive. You must buy a suitable glue yourself to use the patches. On the plus side, the patches match the material of the pad.
3) Because of the above, you will probably want to purchase some clear pieces of repair tape to take with you in the field.
4) Unlike my Sea to Summit pad, this pad has one big air chamber instead of two segregated chambers. If the pad develops a hole, it's useless unless you have repair tape with you.

Finally, this is a good pad, as solid yet lightweight as my Nemo. Unfortunately, like the Nemo it will probably be hard to get moisture out of this bag, leading to mold at some point.
