Ultralight 2-Person Backpacking Tent｜Horizon Lite 2

Used the Horizon Lite 2 on a recent snow camping trip and came away really impressed. By the time I got to camp, my fingers were freezing and pretty stiff, but I still had it set up in about 3–5 minutes without much trouble. That alone was a huge win in the cold. Once pitched, it felt solid, well-designed, and gave me a lot of confidence for the night. For a lightweight tent, it feels much more capable than expected.

The Horizon Lite 2 feels like a big step up from my old setup. Way easier to carry, quick to pitch, and it doesn’t have that flimsy feel some lightweight tents do. Spent some time checking it out after setting it up and it just feels really well thought out. Light enough for longer trips, but still feels like a proper little shelter at the end of the day.

Finally upgraded my tent setup and ditched my old 2kg+ beast.
This one feels like a totally different experience already. The build quality looks excellent, the materials feel premium, and everything just seems really well put together. I haven’t even taken it out yet, and I’m already hyped for the first trip. Can’t wait to spend a night in my new little “bedroom” out in the wild.

Setup is quick and intuitive, even the first time. The pole structure feels stable and the tent stayed nicely tensioned overnight with some wind rolling through camp. I also really appreciate the two-door design — no climbing over your partner in the middle of the night.
Ventilation is surprisingly good for a lightweight tent. With the mesh inner and fly on, I had very little condensation in the morning. The vestibules are just big enough for boots and a pack, which keeps the inside space uncluttered.
Overall, this feels like a great balance between weight, simplicity, and comfort. If you’re looking for a reliable two-person tent for backpacking or bikepacking, the Horizon Lite 2 is definitely worth considering.

I’ve used a lot of gear that looks great on paper but feels disappointing once you actually get it outside. The Horizon Lite 2 wasn’t one of those.

I also have to mention the look of it. The colorway stands out in a good way. Clean, modern, and a lot more premium looking than most tents in this category.
